Hingabe is a laboratory of performers Beatrice Fleischlin and Kiriakos Hadjiioannou, which can be installed temporarily in different places.
In Hingabe Fleischlin and Hadjiioannou ask the spectator to give oneself and surrender in a spiritual way to set unimagined energies free. Devotion is touched and shaken. The performance touches on how unconditional surrender to somebody can be essential for survival and to ones relationship to the world outside oneself.
Guests will be blindfolded and picked up two at a time by the performers, who guide them through the space and immediately are immersed in a sensorial experience they don’t control. They are entertained, delighted or irritated. In Hingabe both kinesthetic experience and philosophical reaction merge into an idiosyncratic form of theatre where the senses and sensuality play a key role. Guests devote themselves to two people for the duration of the invitation. Duration: 30 minutes.
